The suicide rate for those aged 10 to 24 increased over 50 percent from 2007 to 2018, and suicide remains the second leading cause of death for those aged 14 to 18.Recall that HRSA previously acknowledged 40 to 45 million persons with mental health needs (adults and juveniles) are being grossly underserved.
