Aging. Illness. Death. Dying. Nobody wants to talk about these subjects and yet, at some point, there they are and we think maybe we should have had a plan or at least discussed having a plan.
As I've written about end-of-life legal and health care issues and the meaning of legacy and value-inspired philanthropy, I've found that folks tend to avoid subjects that they find intimidating and, yes, frightening, and that doesn't serve anyone. I've been searching for a way to introduce these subjects that would enlighten, rather than terrify.
And there they were: the characters of EXIT - A novel about dying, my first book-length work of fiction.
